Em/Power the Co embodied bodies of togetherness

Lecture and Workshop
The Theme of „performativity of the assembly“ and „community and group organisation formats“
Workshop in form of a Lab, 4 Hours
Lecture, about 1 Hour
Within a workshop- lab and a lecture I want to focus on the theme „performativity of the assembly“, as well as on „community and group organisation formats“. What kind of different forms of cocreation can we archive together? How do we build up and activate a collective body? How do we set up an environment for an interplay? What are pluralistic actions and how do they function? How do we use power or empowerment for authority, control or domination? In addition we will perform different cooperative rituals to demonstrate their understanding of participation. This includes the aims of community groups, how they function and how they occur with power or empowerment within groups, individuals and the global society. Through the role of the body, we´ll discover that the embodied ways of coming together are related to different mechanism. Therefore the question is not, whether I act in a collective or as an individual, but what impulses of collective dynamics I want to give with my actions? We will explore inclusive and exclusive mechanisms of collective behaviours and of animal groups. How do they create different shapes and motions and how do they generate different collective patterns with small variations in the rules followed by individual group members in order to organise themselves as a collective. Where in history group behaviour and collective actions have misused the power of those structures and how could we protect those communities in future from those effects?
